Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

That we are here in this moment together is no mistake, this is one of the many things that the Lord is showing me in this journey! God invites us in each day with him and for that I am so humbled. I would love to invite you into and share with you what God is building in my life and the peace of knowing that He is the foundation and cornerstone on which I want to go deeper and build my life on! Every person that you encounter, every person that the day greets you with is a moment that can spent in however the Lord sees fit. It all starts with a choice to be obedient. A choice to choose walking in joy. A choice to lay those things that are heavy at Jesus’s feet. A choice to celebrate the things that we can dance with the Lord on! A choice to invite the Lord into your day, whatever it looks like, good or bad. Trust. Trusting. I share this because when the Holy Spirit started whispering, I opened my hands and heart and heard and felt the fresh breath of a new step in my life. I began a new journey of what trusting in the Lord and walking in obedience looks like!
I sit here, knowing that I am about to turn 52. I sit here in testimony that the Lord is never ever done with you no matter where you are at in your life.I spent years in customer service. I then was oddly led to hair school. Hair school, meet customer service, meet ministry. It is amazing how well these all went together for where the Lord is leading me. I remember when opening up the salon and praying over that space,I told God a long time ago that it belonged to him and that he could use it as he sees fit and provide for my family. And twenty years into that, Jesus answered those prayers. I had the honor to see so much life and the beauty of the Lord in the nine to five. I have had the honor of meeting so many people and to see graduations, weddings, families growing, and the sadness of seeing friends pass. Jesus was setting the foundations to show me what it was to do life and walk in community as the body of Christ.
Twenty years of being behind the chair, I felt a stirring for something else. I prayed,I asked my husband to pray, I asked my leadership team with my squad to pray. I closed my doors to the salon in October of 2025, not even knowing what was next, but I knew my God did. A good many people were baffled, heck, even I was. But I spent my time abiding in thankfulness and loving my family and caring for my home in a capacity that I had not had the opportunity to do before. I know that we all hear the Lord in a variety of ways, but through a series of hearing the Holy Spirit, here  I am to serve God and His people by coming on staff at Adventures in Missions. God is never done working in each of us! I will get to continue to be grown and stretched in my personal journey, and love on the people that he puts there with me.
I would love to have time to sit with each of you if I may. Whether it be an email, grabbing a coffee, or a phone call. Proverbs 3:5-6 states that He would make my paths straight. Well, He does as He has promised and the paths have all led straight to Him. Thank you Jesus!

So let me ask you this. What is the Lord showing you? What is He leading you deeper into? What is He asking you to submit to Him? Please share with me in how I can be praying for you in this and your journey, for we are the body of Christ!
