I woke up this morning and found myself thanking God for the presence he is, remembering something I had written down from the previous sermon I heard.

“God is in it when we let him move in it.”

His presence is the present time we are given. He is the existence, in all the possibilities, he is the moment. He is in it. In this existence of God, he has given us life and endless blessings. He has shown us what it is like to live a life of giving. And in turn, giving is also our way to express gratitude, demonstrate compassion and uplift those in need.

Numerous studies have shown the physical, emotional, and psychological benefits of giving, highlighting its capacity to foster happiness, strengthen relationships, and create a sense of purpose. Whether inspired by faith or driven by secular motivations, acts of giving can bring about positive change and make a meaningful impact on both the giver and the recipient.

What a reassurance that God is with us in all that we are, all that we do, all that we pray, all that we give, all that we receive.
