Winter 2026

Wow, I cannot believe how fast the winter flew by!

It feels like just yesterday we were waking up to the sunrise in the hospital after Rose was born. 3 months have flown by and we’re gearing up for the spring and summer ahead. All the while Rose is changing clothes sizes and growing her first teeth!

We can’t begin to tell you what a blessing it has been to become parents to Rose. She is truly the sweetest little bug there is. She knows how to roll with the punches of staying busy with mom. Whether it’s bible study, grocery shopping, cooking dinner, dog walks or dinners out, she’s been such a good girl! My favorite parts of the day are when she wakes up smiling at us in the morning and when we snuggle up for bedtime. It’s never a bad day when you look her way. She’s already carrying so much joy and peace with her wherever she goes! 

 

 Over the winter, ministry in missions continued on as our team prepared for the spring ahead. We already have nearly 100 missions planned throughout this year. We’ve trained over 30 new mission leaders to help lead teams in over 25 locations worldwide. And we finalized our annual devotional. This year we are putting an emphasis on what it means to be Rooted in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-7, 

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”

Just as God would have it, “Rooted” was my personal focus for 2025. God gave us the best fruit from deepening our roots that I ever could have imagined, a sweet babe named Rose! How beautiful of Him to give me this testimony walking into the new year with new opportunities to encourage others to be rooted in Him. 

For this year, I feel God is leading me to embrace this “New Life”, where He has now planted me as a mom, a missionary, a wife and a friend. I’m leaning into all He has for us right here, right now. I’m embracing the slowness of mornings with a newborn, coffee in one hand, baby in the other; the commitment of being invited into a family bible study and a women’s prayer group; a church body full of zeal for the Lord and many babies all around; a home unfinished, but on it’s way to becoming a safe haven for all who enter through its doors and a beautiful place to grow a family. 

He continues to affirm to me that though the world looks troublesome at best, I can trust that God will remain faithful to all who call upon Him. That’s where we sit my friends, in the faithfulness of the Lord. 

I pray you will join me in embracing the very places God has you and calls you toward this year. I pray that you find shelter in His wings no matter what darkness encircles you. I pray you have or find a community that encourages you and lifts you up when the days are hard. I pray that you remain rooted in the foundations of your faith: that you are seen, known and loved by Jesus the Savior of the world. And finally, I pray that you would grow your roots down in Him to be led into the fullness He has for you this year.

  • October 3-9 – Women’s Beauty for Ashes Team
• supporting and expanding ministry outreach efforts in Central Maine (Where I grew up),
  • June 13-19 – Women’s Mission Team
  • July 6-12 – Youth Mission Team
  • July 18-24 – Youth Mission Team
• helping equip, prepare and empower mission teams to serve in other locations worldwide including, Greece and Romania, Colombia, North Carolina and anywhere else God asks!
